Wow. There are some pretty nasty reviews on here and a lot of what I would consider false accusations. Freedating is absolutely free in my experience. Sure there are some dodgy people on it, its free after all, but there are on every site I have tried. Online dating is always a bit of a minefield so keep your wits about you. They modify and monitor messages. They stipulate it that you communicate only via their platform. Any other form of contact is blocked. The majority of female profiles are fake. I don't know why they call themselves free dating. They are not free. But if you can afford a paid dating site AdultsFun.club is a better option. They have real women, no bots and no fakes. They have been time tested. I used to have dates through them. Actually there are a lot of better options since FreeDating is pretty much a waste of time. They gave me no dates. Their goal is to make a short-term profit but selling you a long-term paid membership. dont bother. this site a waste of time matches you,with people outside age range location range. plus when get matched men only after casual, nothing like i asked for on profile. Absolute joke. NO STARS. Signed up at the weekend. My photo was approved within a couple of hours but over two days later my profile still hasn't been approved. What an absolute joke. The limits I put on re age and distance were totally ignored. I had young chaps asking if I was a cougar or wanting me to be their mum. Got too much so was happy to leave. I gave 2 stars for the few nice chaps I had texts with and also for how easy it was to leave. Going to stick to the real world and see what life brings me from now on. I tried this site again in 2022 and… I tried this site again in 2022 and over 10 years ago to and it has not changed one bit its still a rubbish site Yes its 100% free to message people and you dont pay a penny thats the good side but the women on here i think are on it just because they are bored and lonely and have nothing better to do and just want someone to talk to thats if your lucky enough to find one to even talk to if they are just lonely they should call on the samaritains and not waste peoples time but 99% of them dont even reply back to your messages so they are very ignorent and who would even want to meet ignorent people with no manners not me and the 1% that i managed to get to talk to have some kind of mental issues going on i can tell even without out meeting them so these 100% free dating sites only attracted weirdo's and they are not really wanting to meet you because if these people were really serious in meeting someone to have a proper long term relationship they would go on the sites were they would have to pay like eharmony to show you they are serious so if they were to join a paying dating site it means they are seriously looking for the special one so just do your selfs a favor and avoid these freedating sites they are a waste of time even plentyoffish is no better they are all rubbish,So in the end i was so annoyed with the site and the women on it that i said to my self no more MR NICE GUY and that it would be easier for the site to boot me off yes i wanted the site owner to boot me off so i messaged a few women for the last time and insulted them all with an intro line of HELLO FISH HOW YOU DOING!! you guy will know what i mean LOL and thats a big insult to a woman the next day my account was closed down HIPPY and i'm so glad it was but sorry to you few decent women out there as there must be some good women out there somewhere they are not all bad but its like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Iv learnt to not trust them on Freedating, especially those who write with bunched up sentences, with lots of commas and full stops in them with no spaces and extra capital letters in the sentences. with big smiles on their profile faces. who knows whos picture is posted online? even Freedating are clueless. Having checked many dating sites there is the whole fake profile thing and you are on the site for a while and get messaged by someone who just happens to be offline when you find the message. This site certainly has a lot of bots on it, with random jumbles of letters and not much else. The moderator Dan is a pretty obnoxious character who spies on private messages and has not really developed a basic style of customer service skills. Apparently he is supposed to be against dating fraud, when the reality is he is just muddying the waters. Well I had at least the mild entertainment of why online dating sites are so bad - stil I did miss having an insane woman talking about how she likes Breaking bad and her boyfried had been cheating on her and wanted revenge : which something you need when you have just spent a couple of hours on Windows Vista wallowing in the nostalga of 2007. The same as other free sites. The same as other free sites, some guys just want one night stands, some want to move in within a week, others are rude, the seemingly normal ones ghost you. Might as well spend money on a good site or spend it doing stuff you enjoy, more chance of meeting genuine guys/ladies! It's gone downhill. 12 years ago I used this free dating app & quickly met a few dates who were genuine, luckily they only lived 50 miles away so it was a bus ride, 1 of them I had a few dates with & it didn't go anywhere, the other I spent about 12 years with until his death. So after 18 month on my own I thought I'd give it another go. Met them 2 in maybe 2008/2009 Fast forward 12 years & unfortunately I've found at least 1 scammer, he claimed to work on oil riggs & lived in the North East & mentioned so many places up & down the A1 that he started to make me dizzy. I mentioned I had no money and puff like magic he disappeared! There's 1 or 2 where there's little or no conversation. I'd say beware of this site, I've taken myself off for now.
