Криптовалютная биржа KuCoin заявила о несанкционированном выводе средств с горячих кошельков биткоина, токенов ERC-20 и других. По некоторым данным, сумма ущерба может достигать $150 млн.

В заявлении биржа отметила, что активы в холодных хранилищах находятся в безопасности. Все потери пользователей платформа пообещала возместить из страхового фонда.

CEO KuCoin Джонни Лю подтвердил, что причиной инцидента стала хакерская атака. По его словам, биржа уже обратилась в правоохранительные органы.

После взлома CTO Bitfinex и Tether Паоло Ардоино сообщил, что биржа заморозила 13 млн USDT на блокчейне EOS, а эмитент стейблкоина заблокировал 20 млн USDT на одном из Ethereum-адресов «в целях предосторожности».
